WHAT YOU’LL NEED
-1 uncooked pie crust
-3 eggs, beaten
-1/4 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp vanilla extract
-1/2 cup sugar
-1 cup Karo light corn syrup
-1 cup pecans, chopped
This may or may not be the most unhealthy pie ever, in the history of pies. But, of course, that means it is the most delicious. Also, super easy.
I MUST WARN YOU, THOUGH- If you like to place a couple decorative pecans on top of your pie, PICK THEM OUT BEFORE YOU START CHOPPING, OR YOU WON’T BE ABLE TO FIND ANY GOOD LOOKING WHOLE ONES TO USE, YOU WILL HAVE CHOPPED THEM UP LIKE AN IDIOT (in other words, I am an idiot).
Mix everything in a big bowl (again, make sure the eggs are beaten first). Dump it into the crust. Place decorative nuts (*giggle*) in whatever pattern you want on the top.
Shove it in the oven at 350 for 45 minutes, and you now have a delicious and heart-slowing dessert. Enjoy.
